October has arrived, and the leaves are mostly gone in the Tetons. There are a few nice spots left along the Moose-Wilson Road, but those too will soon be gone. Bear activity in that area has dropped off and the closures are over (including previously closed trails). There is abundant moose activity. I saw a cow and a bull cross the Snake River yesterday morning near the Moose park entrance. And this guy crossed the highway coming from the river and subsequently meandering into the trees to the east.
